Confidence!
One of the first things people seem to say to me when they find out what I do is "Wow, you must be so CONFIDENT!" I wrote that last word in capital letters as the amount of astonishment and emphasis put on that word could not be conveyed by context alone. And people say this to me all the time. Which I find weird, because I'm not. And most performers I know will freely admit that they're not either. What you will normally find with me is this:

Feeling of inadequacy. I am absolutely with you there. It's how I've felt most of my life. I cope by showing my teeth, snarling and trying to look big, then running off somewhere to cry and heal.
